Tire curve inputs: the slip-ratio view assumes zero slip angle; the slip-angle view assumes zero longitudinal slip. During combined braking or cornering, TORCS feeds sqrt(sx^2 + sin^2(angle)) into the same tire model.
Tire force assumption: static force applies TORCS' default load-sensitivity factors to the tire friction multiplier and average configured corner load for that axle. This illustrative view assumes level ground, equal left/right load, surface friction 1 and zero camber contribution; it excludes fuel, aerodynamic load, weight transfer, skill, wear, temperature and relaxation effects.
